Fresh water
I am going to start up a new tank. My question is: Has anyone used Cycle with samples of gravel and filter squeezings form an established tank. What was the outcome? Any ill effects ?? Was performance satisfactory ?

I'm setting up my 4ft tank and will be using some of the filter media, gravel and water from my other tank, and adding 10l fresh water just to top it up every few days, I spoke to my LFS and they said it will be fine to do it this way just gotta get the money and transport together for my new filter and heater then I'm ready to go. I'm going to record stats etc and do tests every few days to see whats happening,
