Oh Robyn, I was so very sorry to read about your cat!! I know how you are feeling. I am sorry! You seem like such a good and caring person. I am also sorry about the Bluebirds. But look at it this way......they are raising other babies...somewhere..or else you wouldn't even be seeing the Bluebirds!!! A couple of my birdhouses are so full of nests, the birds can't even get in the hole!! So, guess this will be a good time to clean them out. Chin up, Robyn. Try to have a good day!!!

My cat, Samantha, is still hanging in there. I can't find any more maggots on her. Yesterday, I cleaned out the bluebird house. It already had a full English sparrow nest and one egg. I felt bad for killing that potential baby but incubation hadn't begun, and the father certainly felt no guilt killing the bluebird chicks.
