Can frogs naturally heal themselves of mild cases of redleg; also, can healthy frogs in a pond catch redleg easily enough in a garden pond community if they are well fed and not stressed?

I don't know much about redleg. Does anyone else? I would think some frogs coudl heal themselves. I don't know how contagious it is.
