Easter egg chickens are Araucanas but sometimes they're called Americanas. See http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/product/ar...americanas.html

I have an Araucana rooster, Sugar. His sister, Spice, died last year. She laid green eggs. My page on my chickens is at http://www.fishpondinfo.com/chicken2.htm so you can read about them.

What do you want to know about them?

if they will brood? how is there temperment? are the standard size or bantam?

The standard ones will NOT brood. My rooster is nasty but my hen was sweet enough to me. She was the dominant hen and attacked my other hen when she hatched chicks so I had to separate them. They come in both standard and bantam forms but I've never seen the bantams in person. I'm not sure if the bantam version will brood or not.
