Description: do toads eat toads?

nikkik - July 23, 2006 02:33 AM (GMT)
i have a question for everyone... i had 2 baby toads. i have had them both for about a week. one was the size of a dime (maybe a penny) his name was Chubs and the other one was a little bigger (about the size of a nickel) his name is Pudge. this morning there was 2 (at 10am)... both hopping around but now- um... there is only one (at 10pm). and there is no way that they can jump out of the aquarium and there is no holes or anything. so did the fat one (Pudge) eat the little one (Chubs)?

If You know about a Fowler's Toad, Mine is kindof fat and it's in a smallish bigish cage how many small crickets should I feed it? ;)

What's a smallish bigish cage? How big is the toad? If it's full grown, then he can probably eat a cricket or two every day, the big ones. I'm guessing he's smaller in which case, it's hard for me to guess without knowing how big he is and the temperature. I suggest adding some other animals to his repertoire such as mealworms and waxworms for variety.
