I have a 20 gallon tank that is almost ready to be set-up (I just need the tank stand) and I was really considering to make it a planted aquarium. For some of the plants, I want to use bogwood as an anchor, but I'm curious about the availability of bogwood where I live (USA) and getting it ready for the aquarium - should I soak/boil it like I would with driftwood?

Most aquarium stores sell driftwood but perhaps not bogwod. I'm not sure how they differ aside from where they're found. Driftwood usually attached to slate because it tends to float when new.
