Title: Ramshorn And Apple Snails
Description: Baby snail care

This is probably a silly question but I am just starting to see baby ramshorn snails in my tank. I did not see the eggs before they hatched and I only have one ramshorn and the rest of my snails are apple snails. Any way my question is how do I clean the tank without vacuuming out baby snails? They are so tiny at this point I’m surprised I noticed them at all. This tank is set up for snails only so I don’t have to worry about any fish. I appreciate any tips as I’m sure I have probably lost a bunch of these babies the last time I cleaned the tank.

Thanks for the info!

You'll probably have many snails. I don't usually worry about sucking up snails. Strangely, I never find any in the bath tub where I drain the water anyway. They usually have enough power to not get sucked up the tube. You can also drain into something and then remove any snails. Of course, it would be a pain to pick out babies but that's up to you. I spent an hour today picking out baby roaches from bark substrate!
