I have what I think to be hair algae in my pound and I don't know how to get rid of it I have a good filter and the water is clear but I have the green slime all around the sides and hanging off of the plants.

Hair algae can be a pain to get rid of. Sometimes more plants will outcompete the algae. Other times, it gets better with a change in seasons. If you want to add chemicals, AlgaeFix is supposed to kill hair algae and is safe for most animals (not crustaceans).
