Hi there, I am looking for a someone in my area that has an extra filter and/or aquarium supplies. I got a Tiger Oscar and the filter on the tank he came with does not work.

I also am looking for baby fish or any fish that people can no longer care for. Maybe someone wants to start over their fish tank with different types of fish. I will take the older ones. My toddlers and I love fish. I let the girls feed the fish we have every day with a pre measured food (so they don't overfeed the fishies). This has become a very enjoyable hobby.

We even have a small pond :rolleyes: :D .

Try the Yahoo Groups, type in Freecycle in Florida. You'll be able to see what groups are closer to you. So far on the two that I've joined in my area I've seen an 11 month old dog, pond fish, and 4 kittens plus assorted birds plus anything you can just about think of ( including dirt. lol ) They're OFFER and WANT sites, no selling or trading allowed.
Also I was complaining at work that I couldn't find an aquarium at the big flea market. The lady sitting across from me had one collecting dust on her back porch. Never knew she had fish. lol Spreading the word helps too, just make sure you say 'a good home for FREE fish'. :)

Thanks for the info. I am a member of about 5 freecycle groups here in Florida. I love that group. I give away things all the time and I don't have to leave my house to take things to the Salvation Army. However, I am still looking every single day for an aquarium filter.(and hopefully I will be the lucky recipient on that day). :D
