Could you tell me when I can put my fish in the pond my husband built for me.

Once your pond is setup, I suggest running it for a week. Add dechlorinator, some pond salt (not as much as they say), and good bacteria. Aerate and filter the water. Start adding plants. Check for leaks and problems. A week gives the pond time to stabilize. Things (insect larvae and algae at least which are normal to mature a pond) will start to grow. When you add fish, then they should have a better start. In rush situations, before putting fish in a new pond, I suggest waiting at least 2 hours to aerate the water well, longer for bigger ponds.
