user posted image This is my new pet frog but I don't even know the species. I want to be able to take care of it the best I can and knowing it's species sure would help. I live in northern Ohio right by Lake Erie if that helps. Thanks everyone. Feel free to tell me on here if you know or email me at j0nhuffman@aol.com (spelled with a zero)

It's a tree frog as evidenced by the little suction cups on his front feet. It looks like it might be a spring peeper. They are breeding now in MD.

See http://enature.com/fieldguides/detail.asp?...=&curPageNum=18

Tree frogs will only eat small live animals such as wingless fruitflies, small crickets, small mealworms, waxworms, etc. They live in trees except this time of the year when they come to ponds to lay eggs.

I suggest enjoying him for a short time and then releasing him.
