I'm a bit confused about the light for my turtle aquarium because I've read so many different things. Is it okay to leave the turtle in darkness during the night?

During the day, my turtle has an incandescent white heat lamp and a fluorescent full spectrum light. At night, he's got an incandescent black lamp but that's not a requirement. Your turtle can sleep in the dark. He won't sleep well if there's a lot of light.
