Title: It's Been A Year

My ph is finally balancing out. About 5 more bags of rock and the waterfall is done ( except the trashcan lid ) I found a pic from a year ago, it feels like I've done alot, but it doesn't look it. <_<

I'm making a pvc trellis at the corner for shade instead of using the umbrella. I figure I'll be painting it green/brown..not really sure yet. Our water is still green but finally on its way for clearing. Just need alittle more low growth landscaping.

You have some nice flowering pickerel weed.

Where the cinder blocks(?) are, is the pond above ground (water level above the ground) or are just the blocks above the water line?

The ridge of flat slate is what holds down the liner and only one is low enough to get wet. The cement retaining wall is about 2 ft. from the pond itself. So far with the rain we've had the water sinks into the dirt patch between the wall and pond liner. Other than that, the rest ( older ) cement blocks have the liner tacked to it with hard foam. I'm working on my 'trellis' today, it kinda looks like bamboo since there's so many joints to it. lol

I can see from the two pics that you have done alot of work on your pond! It looks great. The bottom pic looks more finished. I like the edging that you used. I gives me a couple of ideas... It would be nice to see your trellis when it is done :)
