Title: Our Frog Moved

Looked for our little green frog in the waterfall this morning..he was in the BIG pond!!! :D Also didn't see him in all the water lettuce. The other frog we had left in the 2nd year but it was the smaller preformed..maybe this one will stay. Hubby took off for a weekend cabin building and man did he have a change when he came home. With this wife he doesn't have to worry about new drapes. :ph43r: . I rearranged around the pond, moved part of the dog kennel and painted the hood of my truck. lol Of course the usual playing NASCAR with the lawn tractor and mowing over my lilies. rofl.

You mowed over your own lilies? On purpose? I've been mowing for the last few years since my father temporarily lost his vision but when my father used to mow, he would plow down something almost every time. I have metal cages on most plants to keep the deer off but my father would take them down. I'd find them wrapped on the tractor later; he wouldn't even notice.

Can I borrow you to do some work here? Just kidding you know. The house is 30 years old and most everything is falling apart, has never been replaced, repainted, etc. Plus, all the pond work and yard work is infinite. I finally had time to mulch a little today, and it's pouring rain. I'm still going out to do the pond after this though and get soaked. It doesn't rain for weeks and then only on Sunday of course!

The lilies are getting moved to the side yard ( so I don't have to mow too much in that area). This way on Labor Day weekend I'll just pull up the roots and plop them in the other area. My goal is to never get off the tractor. My mulch is the grass clippings but my hubby won't dump he only mulchs... I know what you mean about repairs/updates..our bathroom is 1970's white/gold flake tile with the original 1950 sink and tub. Robyn, did I make you feel better? lol

Um, not really. I haven't taken a bath since the early 1980's. Don't worry, I shower daily!
