Would anyone else find it to be helpful when reading posts on the forum for the pond, tub or other water feature size to be included in the signature area of the profiles? Not something that you HAVE to do only if you wanted :)
I find myself searching that information out when reading posts and think it would be kinda handy.

I would take up pages for a detailed signature so I just include my web site. For those with just one pond, a signature like you mention would be handy. Or, they could link to a web site. If they don't have one, I can put one up at Pond Showcase with their pond photos and statistics.
