hi i posted about the nitrates in my pond been to hi thanks god it is all most normal after £70 of bio filter stuff and i can see the bottom of my pond now as well i did not feed the fish for about 2 to 3 weeks now thay are not eating the floating food but thay will eat the sinking food is there any thing i can do ? i am getting 3 golden koi on saturday maybe thay with remind the othere fish how to eat the floating food LOL

They have probably gotten used to the sinking food so they know it's coming and don't want to make themselves feel vulnerable by coming to the surface to eat. The more cover you can provide in the way of floating plants and things, the more apt they are to come up. Plus, if they're really hungry, they may come up or just wait for the floating food to sink as it usually does.
