B) I have frogs, rather large tadpoles, at least 3-4 inch, a 8 inch goldfish and another goldfish about 6 inches in a 165 gallon pond. Will a catfish harm or eat live inhabitants of my pond. It is about 7" inches long. I know they are carnivores, but then so other pond guests, I was just wondering if all are sure to be safe together or shoud I get some other food just for the catfish. If so, what might you recommend? Thanks for help
Most pond catfish will eat what they can fit into their mouths. They also like sinking pellets including those made for cichlids and predators. Based on their current sizes, I don't think the catfish will go after your two goldfish, at least not yet. He/she may go after the tadpoles.
