OMG I went to a great fish farm today in Galena Ohio called Catch of the Day we are stocking our 1/3 acre 20 foot dee pond that hubby built 8 years ago (before me) and has done nothing to it. I got Bass, blue gill, and minnows (sp). This farm was nothing fancy at all but in one pond he had Koi that were as big from my knee to my foot and as big around just pretty pretty pretty and they were mixed in with other not so pretty fish and they just were amazing. He also had a fish that was bigger than the koi and I think he said it started with an "a" and I can not remember what it is. Great experience will be going back there for more fishies and very inexpensive compared to your fish super malls. Everything was clean healthy and looked well takes care of.

Other good news hubby agreed to build me a bigger a pond for the house nothing fancy he will dig the hole and well that is where I will take over I want it about 8 ft deep. If the other partner in your life thinks you fish obsesion is a little over the top I really think the fish farm trip seeing the HUGE ones in a normal pond setting really amazed him and got him to want to do more. And it helps that he has an excavation company and has the big toys so it is not like digging a pond for him takes long.
