ok im 12 and i have a 35 gal tank and i am going tomorow to buy some fish and i need to now if danios can live with gold fish?

If the goldfish are small, they will probably get along with danios. However, larger goldfish can eat small danios, and danios sometimes will nip at goldfish. There are other reasons why I suggest keeping goldfish only with goldfish. I have a list at

For your size tank, I suggest no more than three goldfish. They may seem small in the tank at first but goldfish can grow over a foot long eventually. Fancy goldfish usually stay under 8 or 9 inches long at maturity in aquariums.

Would that be tiger barbs with goldfish or with danios? With danios, it may be okay if there enough barbs that they don't pick on the danios. Tiger barbs with goldfish is a bad idea. Tiger barbs are known to be nippy, and goldfish have plenty of fins to nip.
