Are the danios the only fish in the tank? If so, they will breed on their own. I have tips on breeding them on these pages:

I've found that if you put a lot of java moss in the tank, the danios will cover it with eggs regularly. You can then either remove the adults to get a lot of fry or hand remove any eggs or fry that you find to another tank or net breeder to raise a smaller amount which is what I did.

and whats a net breeder?

Here is a link to a net breeder:

http://www.thatpetplace.com/pet/prod/204233/product.web

Basically, it's a fine net over a frame. It lets water flow through but keeps fry away from the main tank inhabitants. I have five glowlight danios in my net breeder right now.

wait! those are glowfish (as they are called) they are produced by special anemone gene.....my petstore sells them and breeds them quite well.(btw: not to confuse you...they are zebra danios)

I love Danios such underrated great active pretty fish. I have never seen glofish other than pictures .

In my area there is only a chain type pet store with the sickest fish in the world gauaranteed to die so never go there but might order danios at aquabid .

I want to mix them with the glofish strain. I bought another 30 gallon tank and think danios will be my pick.

I have allways loved them
