I found another baby turtle in the same spot I found one about two years ago...right on a pathway that is used by joggers.

I'm going to keep it until it is large enough to release safely. If you all could please help me to determine what kind of turtle it is, and what I should buy in order to make sure it has a good chance of living that would be great. Thanks!!

I wrote those pages originally after I raised a baby snapper and released it the next spring. There are photos on my site of other baby snappers. The long tail and v-shapes at the back of the shell are characteristics to identify snappers.
