I have a new 35 gal tank and there in a local stream that has a ton of wild fish of all kind! Do you think a wild fish is a good pet? My freind had one she called Big Beasty, he was very mean towereds other tipes of fish but was fine with his own tipe. I hope to get one or two of that tipe for my new tank.
P.s i have 5 new glow danios they began to breed as soon as posible XD!

Some people keep native fish. In the US, the main web sites on the topic are
http://www.nanfa.org and
http://www.nativefish.orgThey should cover most of your questions.
You have Glo Fish which are modified zebra danios? They're not glowlight danios which I have; they're a different all natural species. You're Glo Fish laid eggs already?

No, but they chased the others around the tank and mated with them and did the same with the long and short finned danios  . There are no eggs from the danios and glow fish yet thow..

A LONG time ago when I wasprobably about 13 I had an aquarium that I stocked w/ wildlife from a local creek and pond and was very sucessful. At that age I was very easily bored and I had a basically a weekly rotation of various wild fish, from young largemouth bass, sunfish, catfish, even tadpoles and a red-ear turtle. Wild fish did tend to be agressive towards the smaller store bought fish, and eventually they were all eaten:(. The bass were probably about 6 inches long and my neons made great bite size snacks. Eventually I did started looking for the youngest wild fish I could, and was able to raise 2 bass and a sunfish from about 1/2 or 3/4 in to coexist w/ storebought fish and even eat frozen brine shrimp. Unfortunately the wild fish did not survive a freeze induced local power outage one winter, but the store bought fish did. I think you will be fine with wild fish, just try to get them as young as possible before their predatory instincts are irreversible from life in the wild.

IF I WAS YOU I WOULDNT GET THE WILD FISH
1.its cruel to put wild fish in captivity because shop bought fish are brought up in tanks.
2.The fish from wild will get poisened because there water is not as clean and they need more bacteria
