Title: New Tank
Description: Stupid Shape!!! :-(

I am not sure why, lol, but this morning I went to the store and bought another fish tank. I guess I wanted a little bigger one to put my baby goldfish in. Well I picked out a 44 gallon square tank and stand. I have never had this shape of tank before so I thought it would be cool. Well......it is STUPID! It is 5 feet tall with the stand and even standing on a step stool I can just barely reach the bottom of the tank to move stuff around. Then when it came to filling it I had to lift each bucket up over my head.....15 darn times! I don't know what I was thinking, LOL I am soooooo looking forward to cleaning it! Well on an up note, the little fishy's really seem to like it! I would just like to add that if anyone is considering a new tank, NOT to go this root unless you are very tall with very long arms ;)

Really tall tanks are hard to clean. I have a 120 gallon and a 65 gallon, each a few feet deep. The 120 has a lizard. I use a step thing to get in there to clean. The 65 gallon, I use the extra long Python cleaning tube to get in there without getting too wet. I also use grabbers to pull out the cucumber holder every morning to change that out. You may want grabbers so you pick stuff out of the tank without getting too wet or needing a stool.

Be sure you have an air stone and circulation down to the bottom on deep tanks. I hope you can get used to it!

Thanks! I will look for some grabbers at the pet store! I put an aeration stone in there already. I am starting to like it as I don't have to stoop over to watch the fish! The babies seem to love it so that is the main thing! Thanks for your reply!
