How does one put a picture under neith your name? I've been trying under my controls, then change my picture, but it says something like something something something hasnt verified it. Any help?

Here is how:
Go to "My Controls".
Then "Edit Avatar Settings".
Then if the image is on your computer then to go down to "Your Image Avatar", then to "Upload a new image from your computer" and click the "Browse" button to find the file on your computer.
Is this what you had in mind??

AL, I re-read you question and I guess I should have asked you if the picture that you are trying to put up is one that you have on your computer?

Thanks! I got a picture from the choices, but i would rather get a picture from my computer. When i upload the picture and save it it says "You are not allowed to upload that type of file as an avatar or personal photo" What does that mean? I'm pretty sure that the picture is a jpg

AL, What is the size of the file? It may be too large and you would need to downsize it. I can't remember when I uploaded my avatar if it automatically downsized the file or if I had to do it. I think I had to. If you don't have a way to downsize the file I can do it for you if you want.

Animal Love, if you google avatars on the net you can choose from millions on there and they upload fine. Normal pictures are just too big which is too bad as it would be nice to personalize it with our own fishy's!!

My avatar is my own, it's SPOT. I no longer have Spot ( he died this summer ) and with a puter crash, no longer have the pic. :( I barely remember, but I think I cut and pasted Spot out of a bigger pic. Making the size 64 pixels square so I could up load it.

SadieMay, Your Spot looks like are Harley. Our Harley (my husband named him/her) has black on his mouth, front and rear fins. Also on his dorsal fin. He had much more black when we got him but he is slowly turning gold. I am hoping he will keep some of his black. :) He pesters everybody else in the pond. I think he thinks it's his job. :D
Sorry you don't have Spot anymore :(
