Hi TLC,
You know, like piddling around in your pond. Maybe I'm not spelling it correct.
How about this example; I like piddling around with tools in my shop building/fixing things.
Does that make sense?

Here's an official definition:
http://www.wordwebonline.com/en/PIDDLINGIt gives two meanings - to waste time or to urinate
I don't think you intended either of those!
Time is certainly not wasted working on our ponds!

We say "piddlin around" to mean, just doing stuff, little stuff, nothin specific.
"what are ya doing?"
"Oh, piddlin around"

Yep, that's the type of Piddling I thought you meant. I piddle around the house, but where I come from it can also mean that I piddled behind a tree :o ;)
I think if you are piddling in the pond it should puddling :D ha, ha.
Leave it to Robyn to look up the correct definition B) :D

Oh my, now I know you girls are crazy! But I like it that way.
Robyn, I guess you can say I do both types of piddling!
In fact can't wait to retire to my 5 acres in the mountains and piddle in the wind! It's a guy thing. I know. The things that make us happy.
