Title: Snow Pond
Description: the pond after the snow storm

Thought I would share my sad little snowy pond with you! The snow quit and the sun came out right as it was going down. What a perfect setting to sip a glass of wine and stare out the window and worry about the fish

AMAZING! I just posted a photo of my pond (taken 11/8)... it was 82 degrees out & the first time this season I have worn sleeves!!! I used to live in the mountains (zone 2) - I really feel for you. As for the sipping of wine, I'd say it's a "two glass" situation!!!

You pond and picture were very nice. That's the kind of pond I wanted to have! More natural looking and with rocks, I really like the rocks! I am not even going to comment on your 82F, UGH!!!

I like it right after it snows. It's so clean. If you keeping getting weather like this you will have to break out the snow shoes!!

The rocks are all from the lower part of my property - it used to be a wash, but the creek has moved a hundred yards or so, and left all the beautiful rocks. My DH and I are slowly putting in a cobblestone path around the pond and every few feet one of the cobblestones is inset with rocks from the property that I have polished in a tumbler. The area we are landscaping now is about 30' X 70'. We do everything by hand, so it is slow going.

We are supposed to get rain starting tomorrow - then it will be rain, rain, rain until May. I get T-I-R-E-D of the rain & mud, and miss the cleaness of snow, but sure don't miss shoveling walkways, driveways, or clearing a path to the mailbox!

'Little snowy'??? No snow here yet, but getting frost for the last 4 or so days. Pulled the last of the hyacinths out yesterday. Between the dogwood on the south side and the oaks and elms on the north side of my pond, I wish I could put up one of those frames like you got. Unfortunately I designed the bulk of my pond on the fly so only one side is a formal wall.
