JRN, Yep something funny happened there when you posted. :)

That's a thing of beauty that you have there forsure! Looks like a lot of work too. I love those rocks. I guess the would be called boulders though. I have a fetish for rocks.
I haven't figured out how those Pondless Waterfalls works yet...

I built this one at one of my retailers that i supply. It is 14ft across at the bottom. The waterfall is built out of large PA fieldstone which was set by a machine. Then there are smaller pieces of fieldstone, and large boulders. If you look at the pit of rocks you will see a black lid. That is the vault which houses the pump. Which then pumps the water up to the waterfall box.

Well i could build it I just couldnt figure out how to get the waterfall to work LOL

Pondless waterfalls work just like a pond with waterfall that has it's pump on the pond bottom.

The exceptions are, the pond is smaller (sized to keep up with the pump), it's full of 1-3 inch rock, and the waterfall pump sits in a protective container with snorkel access to the surface. That's the snorkel lid you see in JRN's picture. Gives you access to the pump without having to remove all the rock.

Glad to hear you are getting around! That's good news.

My hubby's best friend is or was a firefighter. He had surgery on both knees and it took a while for him to be able to get around. It was strange to see him hobble around. He could never sit still and was always busy doing something. I think it has been a little over 8 weeks now since the surgery and he has been hunting already. He did have some complications right after the surgery but he is doing really well. He said the hardest part was having to depend on other people for things that you had been doing for yourself. Keep us posted on your progress. :)
