Big daddy flies to the top of the aquarium to get food when I walk by If he is sleeping in his cave just a tap on the glass sends him flying to the top. I have algea waffers and bottom feeder sticks wich both go in since I also have a little cat fishy thing down there. Big daddy will blast down there and eat them all up in under 5 minutes along with 3 waffers and maybe little mick may get one.

I actually watched him roll the Guarmi 3 times going after food it is like chumming feeding frenzy is this normal? I am feeding them to much or not enough.

I guess your pleco is just really hungry! I never really see mine eat; he eats at night mostly. Have you tried adding the algae wafers after dark? That's when I put mine in (or the other fish eat them). Put one on one side of the tank for one pleco and one on the other side so maybe the little one can get something.

Well little Mick does get food not real worried about that but Big dady just waits at the opening of the tank eats out of my hand and likes to be touched he will nudge my fingers so maybe he is just weird. He stays out all day long waiting for me to come by. Little Mick comes out when food is dropped in and will hang out but Big Daddy stayes out with all the other fish all day long.
MAYBE he doesnt know he is pleco hmmmmm.

He is great regardless I was just wondering how hungry plecos are.
They all eat plenty and are very healthy he just sounds like none I have ever read about. He is my one of a kind

I am trying to get a pic of him doing his thing but of course I would need another person there with a camera to take the picture and well that never happens when the cool stuff happens. LOL
