hey....ya i totally agree with the size now that i see him in there!! what do you suggest-anything over 2G? and not a bowl/cup right? what would you suggest?

Well... paradise fish do get about 2.5 inches, so they aren't exactly "big" fish. However, I would still say they need a 10-gallon tank as a minimum. I (personally) would need a really big reason to justify putting any fish in something under 5-10 gallons, but that is just my personal methods.

If you can't get a larger aquarium, a 5 gallon will be okay. I have a pair and their adult baby in a 5 gallon (for lack of somewhere to put them), and they're ok. I had some years ago in plastic 2 gallon tanks (one per tank) but would never go smaller than that.
