Title: Pond Christmas Lights
tlc - December 16, 2007 10:49 PM (GMT)
C2 thought we should post pics of our ponds with X-mas lights and I just happened [ ] to have a couple from yesterday. ;) Nothing very creative just strung them up err, out. Sorry they are on the dark side.

Today I'm dealing with DH being mad at me. <_< I turned off the pump. ( He won't let me get an aerator, is convinced we need a pump ). NO openning and can't even see it so don't know if the outside hose is frozen. Told him the fishies can handle oNE day till I get the new de-icer tommorrow. It's supposed to be 6F tonight. They should all be in deep hibernation this week. Just heard it's supposed to warm up to 32F so I'll be able to work outside. I have to figure out a way to plug in my big candles. :P

EEEwwww Sadie, you are sounding a little wintery there! Hope everthing is fine for the fishies. 6F is pretty cold. We are 20F this morning and I am thankful for the warm spell :D I don't have a whole where the aerator is anymore :(

C2, what a beautiful scene. I wish I had just a small amount of snow for my pic. We are just getting rain here, of course.
I love, love those rocks! Where is your pond located from the view of the 1st pic you posted here?
I live in rain country. Oregon.

TLC it is right behind the landscape lights you can see the black lip of the pond
I can not beleive you missed that HUGE pond that I have LMAO usually there is a ski boat docked in it ROFLMAO
All the snow is still there but covered with ice now. Hole with heater is staying open real good it was 15deg F this morning fishies are still move'n under the ice saw them today in and out of their hidding spots. So they all look good so far. THANK GOD.

B3, Most everybody uses Photobucket. This is what you do:
You have to register here (it's free):
http://photobucket.com/register.phpYou have to create an account then upload your pics from your pc. You can also resize them. You don't have to select to "Share" them.
To Resize them do this: After you upload, find and click on the pic. It should open in a larger window. Next click the Resize tab and select the size that you want to have in your post and say yes to the popup. Most choose Message Board for size. After you are finished resizing click the Albums and Uploads tab and that will take you back to your main page. I think after you resize you can rename the pic someplace at the bottom of the screen. Tip: don't change the name of the file after you have posted the pic on the forum, if you do it will break the link and the pic will not show. Change the name
before you post. You don't have to rename the pic, do it only if you want to.
To post the pic do this: Just click the image code on the bottom left (beneath the pic you want to post) one time with your left mouse button and that will copy it to your imaginary clipboard. Then when you are typing your post for the pics just right click one time and select paste. That will put the pic in your post.
Another tip for what it's worth, is not to upload to many pictures at one time to photobucket. Their servers are pretty busy with people like us uploading during the day so they tend to be slow sometimes. I would do a few at a time especially if you have dial-up.
Hope to see the pics soon! :)

C2, Oh not being able to see the ski boat docked explains what I couldn't figure out where the pond was!   (I crack myself up sometimes).
What happened to the deer pics? Are ya afraid to go out in the snow?
