I have a 55 gallon tank with a whisper 40(20-40 gallons) and an aquaclear 40 (40-70 gallons) I really want either 1 angel or 4, some platties and mollies, maybe some serpae or silvertip tetra's, and a royal pleco. Then I saw the parrot fish at my petstore and I love them. Would one go okay with what I have? I think it would go okay with the angels, i dont know about the others....

I was also thinking about a whole different set up, like a parrot fish and a jack dempsy, and my pleco? are there any other types of fish that are compatible with this mix?

I've never had parrot fish myself but I would only keep them with other cichlids of similar size and temperment. Since I've never had parrot fish, I'm not sure which species would work best with them.
