Hi!
I just wanted to tell everyone, that finally we have a sugar glider!
My boyfriend I waited for so long now...There are not too much of them here, so we had to wait till someone has a baby glider for sale. In most of the pet stores they haven't even heard about them:(
We would like to have another one...
This little girl is one of the cutest thing, I have ever seen!
I hope we can get another one soon...

And HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!
Hello keszi,
I had not heard of sugar gliders before your post. I've heard of flying squirrels ... but did not know that there was a flying or gliding possum.
They do have cute faces. What do they like to eat? What sort of habitat do you keep it in?
Sugar gliders are marsupials. They're kind of the flying squirrel equivalent in the marsupial world. If you search on-line, you'll find lots of information on them. They eat a variety of foods including insects, fruit, vegetables, nectar (hence their name), and seeds. They really love bugs though.
If you search the net for sugar glider pics, you will get hundreds of cute animals:)
Here you can find a lot of things about them.

I'm sorry, I forgot to write down, what Kiwi (that is her name) eats, and how we keep here...
Usually she is active at night. When she gets used to her new home, she will come out during the day as well. She likes fruits: grape, pear, banana, and vegetables too. But gliders also need to eat insects, and she really loves baby food, and yoghurt with honey:)
They are very clever and sensitive animals. They should be kept in large cages, but they sleep in a small pocket.
We have here only for a few days, but now she already recognizes our voice:)
They really hate to be alone, if you don't pay enough attention, and you have only one glider, it might even die. That's why we want to have another one...
