Title: Woke Up Jan 1st, Took A Look,
Description: Pond was gone!
Johnnyboy - January 2, 2008 07:13 PM (GMT)
Darn news reporters said to expect 1/2" to 1".
Sure is pretty though!
There's a stream there somewhere dumping into the pond.

The pond is here somewhere. I remember sitting on the bench and seeing it.

2 yr old Grand-Dog telling me "Here it is Grandpa" I found the upper pond/stream.

And....... always one for the birds.

Don't you know the rule? If they forecast a dusting, it'll be a blizzard. If they forecast a foot, it'll be nothing.

I like the pic with the birdhouse. Very cool! And the trunks on those trees are neat too! Is the tree some type of birch?

Looks like what I have, paper birch. As the tree gets bigger the bark peels off paper thin.

WW, you'll have to ask sister puppy what she's looking at (she's sister puppy to my grandson). I couldn't get her to tell me. I wondered the same thing. She's crazy, she probably doesn't know what she's looking at herself. Prolly thought she seen something move, like the water!! :D
Out here they call the trees Shaggy Bark Birch. I've pulled nearly full size sheets of paper off them, I have two clumps. Neat trees, grow fast, but lots lots of leaves.
