WW, would it be alright if I used one of the pictures of your pond in my calendar? I wouldn't be selling it or giving it away. I would only be using it for me.

I would be honored. Thanks for asking.
That is a great idea. Make as many as you like. Will it be only a pond calendar or all landscapes?
Will you make multiple copies? I will buy or trade for one. I don't have the know how to make such a item.

Good luck. Wayne

I thought of doing one with all ponds but didn't have enough pictures to cover all 12 months..
The only calendars that I know how to make are from Costco's website and they aren't cheap. I made the larger size for the dh for x-mas and it turned out great.
See here for price:

And that doesn't include shipping. If I could put one together with enough pond pictures I would send you one. They are a 12 month calendar and I could start with the month of February? What do you think???

wayne r - January 3, 2008 02:55 AM (GMT)
I would be glad to mail you a money order for $18.00 plus shiping.
It would be special because it was made by a friend.

Just a word of warning though. You may get into trouble picking and choosing whos pond pic you are going to put on your calender.

I think they would sell just fine if all twelve months were of Wayne's pond. Different angles and times of day ... or night. Waterfall with fire inside. Elevated Koi condo.
I had a WW pond photo on my work computer wallpaper for a few days, and people would walk by and ask "Is that your pond?". I had to change it because I got tired of saying "Yea, I wish!"

tlc - January 3, 2008 05:50 PM (GMT)
That's funny PG. I know someone else on here had one of his pics on their desktop too. It is a very nice pond!

Now I can put 12 pics. One for each month. I am going to start a new thread to see if anyone else is interested and will let me use their pond pic.

Tia, feel free. I have plenty of pics.

Here in Pond Showcase, Water Gardens, Johns Pond: http://www.pondshowcase.com/John/index.shtml

And tons and tons more here at Photobucket; look in the sub folders. http://s77.photobucket.com/albums/j57/coverworks/

tlc - January 3, 2008 06:22 PM (GMT)
Thanks JB. I will have a look.
Do you have a better pic of the birdhouse with the snow on it?

Johnnyboy - January 3, 2008 06:25 PM (GMT)
Tia, not off hand, but I'll see what it looks like when I get home tonight, if all the snow is still there. Should be, been -2 F all day. Maybe I'll take another and shoot it to ya.

Lots of winter pics of the pond for winter months; if that's what you're thinking.

Send me an email to coverworks@hotmail.com so I have your email addr. to send to.

swampview, I have been wondering where you have been. Glad you are back! :)

Still working on the details for the calendar but really I have been busy with doing taxes so I haven't put much into it yet. There were a few layouts that I put up to get an idea of what people would like but I think that is in another thread... We are planning on setting up an email address so everyone that is interested can email the pics if they are needed. I will have my buddy KK help me with that.

I looked at your pics there a long time ago but I can't remember what the file size was. I'll take a look at the showcase and see what's there.

Hi SwampView, that is funny cause I love your pond and mentioned it to Tia awhile back when we started talking about the calendar. Your pond is definately calendar material! You should post a couple pictures of it here for us, I love to see pictures of any pond that isn't my frozen igloo ;) Welcome back by the way!!

I am sorry that you lost your dear husband. It must have been so hard for you both.
I am so glad that you have decided to move forward and what a better way than with your ponding and gardening activities. They both are good for the sole!! :)

Hi Guys

Thank you Wayne and tlc for your thoughts.I know this forum will be good for me right now because I have many friends on this site.I am not able to get into the pond and gardens yet because of the many feet of snow we have but talking to everyone here and getting more ideas for the spring will help.
Maybe this summer I will get down to your place Wayne and see your pond and gardens. That would be something to look forward to.

Thanks swampview

I am sorry to hear about your husband Swampview. Cancer is the worst. My grandmother died of pancreatic cancer. My mother has leukemia. Losing someone who's so much a part of your life is very hard. I hope you can gain some happiness and enjoyment from nature and ponds.

Hi SwampView! I am very sorry to hear about your loss :-( This is a bad time of year to be going through bad times. I know what you mean about being burried in snow! I checked out your site and you have a gorgeous place there. I love your pictures and your flowers are amazing. I hope you will lean on us when you need to and share your joys and sorrows. I am looking forward to seeing more pictures of your pond, it is such a beauty. If you do get to Wayne's place, we will all be soooo jealous. Hang in there! Elaine

I put a video on a different page about the pond fish.If you've seen it then you must know the tub is getting to small for all the fish.So thanks to you guys getting me going again I set up my 50 gal tank in the shop beside all the other tanks and tub.I took 10 of the small goldfish out of the tub and put them in the 50 gal tank.I will post pics later because these fish were just born this summer in the pond.I can't believe how big they are getting
