Hi tic .
Yep; leaving Fri. morning for 7 days.
The snorkeling there is awesome. You think you are swimming in a over stocked salt water aquarium.
The parrot fish are neat. You can hear them chewing bits of coral off.
Don't know if I have the guts to scuba thou.

I don't even have enough guts to go underwater in my own pool. :( I keep my pool so the 'fear of water' doesn't get worse. It's like the old saying 'falling off a horse, you gotta get back on'...it's a theory in progress. lol :ph43r: :)

Can't help you out with moral support on the scuba diving WW. I am the biggest chicken you ever saw. I MIGHT, maybe, could, would go snorkeling. Only in shallow water where my feet touch the floor and in the area were the little kids go. ;) I hope you decide to go for it. Just make sure you have enough oxygen!! :o

So does this mean another Shelby Mustang to rent?? :P

Give it a shot Wayne!

I got PADI certified at the Great Barrier Reef about a dozen or so years ago.
It was a lot of fun. And you get to see more because you don't have to resurface for air all the time.
Night dives are pretty cool. Different things come out after dark.
Did a 100' deep dive once ... but there's not much to see at that depth. Sort of gray and life is sparce compared to the 30' depth.

Overall a really good experience. :)
