Title: Blizzard Today !
frogman3 - March 8, 2008 04:26 PM (GMT)
Weather man is having a good time today. Normally they get allot of flack for over stating the forecast! Not today, 11 inches so far with 6 hours of snow till it ends. Combine that with 25-30 mile winds and 17 degree temp. and you get 6 foot drifts. Can't remember when the sheriffs dept. has ever closed before. Poor pond is buried and its like two feet from my house. I now there is running water under there some where, not sure now much oxygen is present for the three stooges, Larry, Curly and Mo. Guess they are snuggled up with the frogs waiting on the 40 degree temps the are predicting for next week. This is a big deal here since we only average 30 inches per year. I will try to post pictures on here soon for you ponders that never get any.
Question for KK. Were you putting us on with 70 degrees? Hard to imagine looking out the window. Your way north of me. Did you send all this down here? Not very nice!!!!

Hey Froggy! No I am not kidding about the 70F weather!!! I know it is very crazy!! It is supposed to hit that again today, so I am digging out the deck chairs and am going to have my parents over for drinks and appetizers on the deck this afternoon. I will have to post a picture of the thermometer on here later! That sucks about your weather though :-( and NO KIDDING I am NORTH of you, lol. I am north of everyone on this forum.....oh well, everyone has to be known for something ;) Stay warm and I feel for you and your blizzard cause I was there not that long ago! Last year we got snow on May 21st!!!! Elaine

So Froggy I guess it's safe to assume there will be not electrical installation anytime so eh? I forget where you are. You must live close to Santa with all that snow. Ha, ha... With weather like that there is only one thing you can do...get a pond book, warm blanket and so hot cocoa. :)

It didn't quite hit 70F yesterday, but it was 68F!!! Here's the proof for Froggy!
And...YES.....our sky is ALWAYS this blue :P

KK Whoo.... you have had a hard winter. You deserve a respite. I can't Imagine snow in late May. Hope to have a good tan going on by then since I will be at the beach for two weeks in early May. That's what's so frustrating about this weather. I want my ponds in before I leave so I can add fish when I get back. Since the ground was still frozen I thought I could get all my electric done. Silly me!

LOL, yes, Mother Nature always seems to have suprises up her sleeves for us poor unsuspecting ponders! I will be so happy to get my electrical done too because I am sick of tripping over power cords! I am just thankful that we aren't getting the snow that a lot of people are getting right now.

Froggy, after you resize do you click the tab located on the far left that says "albums & uploads" then find the picture image code?
Sometimes [depending on the brower settings] you can just left click on the image code [not the word image code but the actual code] and you should see a little tiny popup that will say "copied". If you see that then the code has been copied and you won't need to do the right click. You will need to right click to apply it to your post or if that doesn't work go up to "Edit" at the very top left of your screen and click then go down to "Paste" and click again. That should work.
I will watch today to see if you have any sucess!

KK, what a beautiful blue sky!!
A picture is worth a thousand words! Glad you and your igloo pond are finally warming up. B) It must be nice to be out of the "deep freeze" even if it is only for a few days. Time to break out the drinks with the little umbrellas and don't forget the sunglasses!

Hey Froggy, don't feel bad, we have all been there. ;) I have felt like taking the hammer to my puter or getting out the tractor and running over it more than once and we have three of them! :o  So welcome to the club!! :)
Glad you finally got it figured out. Nice pic. Now we need more! That is the bad thing about us guys here on the forum, we never get enough! It's either more pictures, more fish, a bigger pond, not enough plants, need more algae. Oh wait I guess you can have to much of that..
