I was raking the lawn yesterday and wokeup to this today.

This is the front of the house with the pondless waterfall by the front door.

Wow WW you must have a ton of leaves to rake with all those trees. One good thing about the snow is that it hides the leaves. That is a nice and peaceful looking setting you have there at your place.
I can't really see the waterfall on my screen but I am sure it's nice. I love snow pics!

SS, a beautiful pic too. I like the way the stream looks with the snow. :)
I see in the lower right of the pic that you have a garden light? Is that solar powered and does it work well?

Glad to see I am not the only one waiting on Spring! My clay pond started to overflow through the dam two days ago, so that means I am at full capacity of 15 feet! Still not sure if I will add fish this year or not??????? My Mom seems to think I should add a handful of feeders since they normally just get eaten by pirahnas etc. She thinks they would have a better life than that even if they have to freeze to death in the winter. I am just not buying into that yet!!!

My pond is about half open now after rain the last couple of days!! Woohoo...makes me want to get out there working on it! Of course there is still 4 feet of snow that I have to wade through to get to the pond! <_<

Thought I saw a "floater" so grabbed my trusty fishnet attached to hockey stick and made the trek out. Turned out to be a stick though...LOL.....I wanted to do SOMETHING on it! Anything!! LOL :D :D

That 'lily' light works great Tia, doesn't give off a whole lot of light though, it's solar and dusk to dawn kind of thing with a couple of fiber optic 'threads' on it. I love it when the calla lily is blooming too.
