My name is Adam, I am a new fish Hobbyist and it is a lot more fun than I expected. I used to enjoy my neighbors fish for the longest time and decided to start a tank out on my own and have been enjoying it and can feel my self getting hooked. When I sleep I think about my next tank and the type of fish I want to keep. I haven’t even stocked the first one with the fish I want yet. Can’t make up my mind of I want to start out with community fish, or aggressive. I have feeders in it now trying to get the ecosystem going first. I am brand new to this so If I sound dumb please help me. :D

Hi there! While this message board was set up for ponds, it's not a surprise that an aquarium lover sneaked in! Perhaps I should have set categories for all my non-pond animals and fish! You don't sound dumb at all! There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers! :blink:

I've had aquariums since the early 90's and just went to the aquarium store today. I cannot get more fish. I have no more time or space and hate to quarantine which is necessary. It's hard for me to see the thousands of the fish at the store that I know I could help! There was even a bag of live rosy red minnows in a bag without water. The idiot said they were dead and was throwing them away! I wanted to bash his head in! I hope your feeders are better cared for. Good luck in your fishy foray!
