Hello this will be the 2nd post in this part of the forum! I am planning on making my empty 5G hex into a small reef system....It has moderate lighting, etc....I just need to add a power head for extra circulation and pretty much have the equiptment part settled. I am going to set it up at my computer table (AM I an idoit?!) so I can admire it when I am playing on the computer. I dont htink it should be that hard but Ill start it and find out how hard it actually is! I am kinda bumed out about inhabitants because Im not the kind of person who stuffs 100 goldies into a 10G and expects them to live (and then wonder why they die)...so I am going to research that And might move up to a 20G-29G later. Wish me luck! Ill update as I go!
Thanks Robyn! I pulled the tank out of storage, moved my 29 gallon about4 inches over, and put the tank there. The tank is clean, the filter is in...now I just need to put in the light etc. I bought a new betta today to keep my guppy company...so far so good as far as their compatability. They are in the 2G hex on the other side of the room. (its turned from my room to a fish room!)
