Title: Help With Changing Water
Description: I need to treat with a different med

My seven days of treating the whole pond with Pimafix and Melafix is up (see link here for a refresher if needed:http://z2.invisionfree.com/Fishpondinfo/index.php?showtopic=3992) .
I have ordered PraziPro and expect to have in the next day or so. I plan on threating the whole pond with the Prazi.
The instructions for the Prazi say "Do not use with other drugs or disease treatments. Start treatment with as large a water change as practical or start with new water". The treatment lasts for about seven days.
Am I right in thinking that I should change out all of the water, as the instructions say, in the pond before starting the treatment? I changed out 25% yesterday and thought I would change out another 25% today. I have well water and don't need to treat it before adding it to the pond.
The poor little fellas have been through enough I just don't want to shock them any more than I have to.

Fish don't do well with more than a 50% water change. I really don't think you need to change more than that. The MelaFix and PimaFix are all natural and shouldn't interfere with the Prazi as much as "real" chemical medications do.

I hope it works!

I added the Prazi to the pond today. I was happy to get the medication so quick but I did pay for 2nd day shipping. I didn't change anymore water then the initial 25% after the Pimafix and Melafix treatment. Now I wait to see what happens. I don't know what to expect but I hope that I don't have anybody croak from the medication. :o
I felt bad for them seeing them flicking their bodies and zipping around the pond as if to "shake off" something. Harley was swimming almost non-stop yesterday. Poor guys.
