No need to shout is there, all caps is shouting.

Do you have fish in your pond?

I used pinks (pink colored minnows) in my bio filter but they didn't stay in there very long as I had to much currant going thru it, but the mosquito's also didn't stay in my filter also because of the currant. The pinks did do a good job of eating them in the pond.

So can you increase the water flow?
I noticed the mosquito's in my skippy style filter before I turned it on in the spring.

Mosquito dunks is your answer, works for about 30 days before you need to add more. you can buy on line at dr fosters or at a garden center.

I assume the "pinks" were rosy red minnows?

I assume Monster's biofilter is open at the top? If there's water movement, there should be few mosquito larvae. There may be some other insect larvae that can anchor themselves in moving water like blackfly larvae or caddisfly larvae. I don't treat my biofilter with anything because the water is moving fast. If it's slower movement, then you can use Bt products. Mosquito dunks are probably better if you can keep them from flowing out of the filter. If you used mosquito bits or the liquid Bt, it would just flow out of the filter (unless it's really slow).
