Title: My Fish Are Doing Better
Description: :-)

Just an update.
Both of my remaining fish seem to be doing fine. I think the parasite medicine did the trick. They are acting like normal fish now. :) B) I haven't seen any flashing in either fish and they no longer hide under the Lillie's. I was out today changing the water and moving some plants around and was able to get a good long look at them both. I think they have grown :o :) Harley looks bigger to me. Skippy looks to be a little longer. My DH thinks I am loosing it. I have been leaving them alone and trying not to stress them so I hadn't had a good look in a couple of weeks. This makes me so happy as I have been very worried that I would loose them all. :) I really like what I am seeing. I hope they keep improving! I am just so, so happy!!!!!!! :)

That's great Tia!
:)
I was wondering if they had stopped flashing. I'd be nervous if I'd seen that behavior too.
Are you going to get them another friend to swim with?

That's awesome T!!!! Good thinking to leave them alone. I can't seem to do that and go around sticking the net in there and catching them to inspect them. I think they are getting a little pissed at me! I can't help it though, I am just so darn happy to be able to see them.

Thanks guys :) I hope they look as good or better when I get back.
I am not planning to add anymore fish yet. When we get the tax check I am planning on getting a small tank to use to quarantine the new fish or fishies! I might just splurge and get two of the little fellers if I get a wild hair! ;) :)
If the other two kick the bucket while I am gone then I will hold off and re-evaluate what I am doing... <_<

Well got home from vacation and all the fish were still alive and kick'n to my surprise. :o They hadn't had a water change it two weeks the poor things. I changed out 25% of the water on Saturday and another 25% on Sunday and left it at that. There is still left over meds and am planning on doing a spring cleaning after I catch up with EVERYTHING else. They were fed a total of 5 times while I was gone. :o <_< . I am going to have to fire the fish feeder (my daughter) I guess. There was enough algae and I purchased some small floating plants that they could chew on until I got back.
Now if all my "other" problems were that easy to fix I would be in great shape.
I got home to find out on Monday that our website was messed up and am still dealing with that but I will muddle through and "Get-r-done!
I have a ton of catching up to do as you guys have been pretty busy on the forum with fish dying, jumping, new snails, fish eggs, babies, tanks, new plants and new ponds- Oh My!
Glad to be back. Missed you guys! :D
Tia
PS. KK I will catch up with you sometime tomorrow bud! :)

Welcome back! The spammers missed you! :P
You have a web site?
tlc - May 20, 2008 10:49 PM (GMT)
I missed the spammers too ;)
Yeah Robyn we (the DH and I) have a website but it's not pond related at all. We do RV stuff. We have had the site for going on 8 years now. I don't mention it just b/c I like to leave work at work and don't want to use this site for personal gains (other than the fishy kind) aaanddd this place here is my fun place! I know, I know, that sounds korny. :)
