I have read about blue orfes , but have never seen one.
Are they really blue?
Has anyone here actually seen one? Or are they just talking about the wild ide which is gray?

I've only seen photos Wayne.
I found this photo:

They look pretty blue to me. It is the natural color though not a third color. They are easy to get in the UK and some other European countries but I've never seen them for sale in the US (or Canada).

Of course we always want, what we don't, or can't have! But I have to agree they sure are pretty :rolleyes: I assume if you placed them in with the golden orfes they would interbreed. Can't seem to remember for sure what I read about the blue/silver but I think it's their natural color. Doesn't make sence to me why they don't sell in the US. Their cousins are already here!
