I just sat down and figured out everything that I will have for the pond by the end of next week as far as plants go....I may have gotten carried away.. :rolleyes: It may be a bit crowded, but better that than too few...right? Someone say I'm right!!

Here is what I have/will have:

2 more water lilies coming in mail

Getting Variegated Flamingo Water Celery
Getting Bog Bean
Getting Water Soldier
Getting Pickerel Rush
Have 4 Water Iris
Getting Variegated Japanese Iris
Have 4 Cat Tails
Getting Dwarf Water Hyacinth
Getting Hornwort
Getting Creeping Jenny

I did a chart of the pond and I think everything will fit....for this year. Next year may be a different story though!!! hahahaha :D

Be a shame to have to build another pond just to have somewhere to put some plants.... ;)

Derrick, I went overboard too with new plants this year. I put in 10 new marginals (I have about 30 already), 3 new waterlilies (have 4 already), 30 submerged plants, and 6 floating plants. There is really no room left! In the past, half the new plants I get don't make it for various reasons (the fish, raccoons, deer, or they just die) so I think things won't be so crowded later. No more marginals for me next year! I've tried everything you listed except for water soldier and Japanese iris.
