So as you may or may not know, I have been pondering the idea to get a new 9G Pond for wildlife...Well I decided yes and tore down my 2G pond today instead of cleaning it. I put the fake floating plants in my pond and of course the live plants and those rocks I like. Okay so...Here's my list:
--9 Gallon Planter Pond
--edging --- river rock w\pea gravel...mulch in my new garden after it's done
--a bag of pea gravel for the plants pots, and for around the pond
--More plants (Including a Lotus to replace my dying bloody dock)
--Rosey red minnows(I like fish)--Might not get though!

The hole is dug, the pond is in, plants are in and established water is in....I got a Free Gambusia (Misquito fish) with the water....so after the pond establishes...he will get a few more buddies, and that unknow fish of mine also goes in!

LOL! The mosquito fish came wih some water I collected from my brothers, bosses pond...I also got to be hissed at by gesse protecting their goslings(SP?)...and I got to see a pea cock up close....He was TOO cool! I need to get a few rosey reds and a few more mosquitos then wait...till I get my 140G pond to put my goldies\koi in that way the north american fish can have a bigger pond then the 9G can TRUELY be a wildlife pond. My parents anniversery is coming up and she wants the huge pond and she asked in advance and she got the ok...so yea...Ill be installing it sometime soon. I have no Idea on how Im going to edge the 9G pond or what ornaments Im going to buy. Since this pond is into a tropical garden...Ill be buying plants such as: Black magic taro, dwarf papyrus, etc. Maybe Ill buy a tropical water lily too...a lotus is going into the 50G!
