Wow it seems like forever since I was able to see the fish. After a week of above normal temperatures 40- 60 range, the ice has disappeared, on the biggest of my ponds. Didn't find any sign of causalities, but I did find a dove that somehow found it's way under the pond netting and drowned. :( which I netted out this morning. Going to try and do a head count tonight since we are expecting snow this weekend. If they would just sit still and quit that swimming around stuff.
Congrats Froggy! Lets hope it stays that way. You guys had your fair share this winter ;)
If you figure out how to get your fish to hold still for you would you kindly share that advise?

My pond finally melted out too. I was worried about the fish but it looks like only one died, a big goldfish. It's stuck in the pre-filter so I have to wait until Sunday to get in and get him out (net didn't work). I also found two dead frogs (one green frog, one pickerel frog).
Hi Robyn, Scooped out 4 dead frogs yesterday, YUCK!
