Ok I know this sounds weird but i got two snails yesterday at petsmart. One is my 20 gallon tank and the other in my 5 gallon. The one in my 20 gallon tank has not moved since I got it. Could they have given me a dead snail? How do I know if it is dead?

OK GOOD NEWS THE SNAIL IS NOW STUCK TO THE GLASS.
DO YOU HAVE A PICTURE OF WHAT THE EGGS LOOK LIKE? I FOUND THESE TWO SMALL GROUPS OF LITTLE BROWN THINGS IN MY TANK. I HOPE THERE NOT EGGS. I DO NOT WANT ANY MORE OF THEM. I DONT THINK ITS WASTE.

I don't have any egg photos. They're too small to get a good photo. The eggs are like little jelly globs. They are mostly clear. Brown centers are very small. It doesn't sound like your description fits snail eggs. Do they have jelly?
