My son found a red frog this weekend under our house. It was pretty much red all on top and kind of white on bottom. We have never seen anything like it before and I haven't been able to find any information on the internet. The only thing that I have found that he looked like is a Tomato Frog but from my understanding, they are endangered and are only in zoo's in the US. Can anyone tell me what we found or point me in the right direction? My son is very interested in reading up on it. Thank you!
If you go to enature.com and enter in your zip code, you can see animals specific to where you live. You didn't say where you live. Keep in mind thought that if the frog isn't native, it could be a released non-native pet species. It's not likely that it's an endangered species.
