What is your favorite type of fish?

The other sections includes rainbows, killifish, eels, shrimp, snails, crayfish, crabs, other types of catfish, big fish like arowwanas, and frogs.

I love all the types of fish! My favorite fish is the fathead minnow because it got me started keeping aquariums and then ponds. They are really fascinating fish.

I love goldfish and bettas to because they got me started. My favorite and last betta just died :( . I have a 2500 gallon pond with goldfish and koi but i love gouramis the most. They are intersting with their little pelvic fin. It is also funny to see them interact with each other :lol:

I used to think I'd never love any other fish that bettas but my paradise pair have stolen my heart. Some say they're a cichlibd & some say they're a gourami. I don't care what they are. I just love them. They have almost become an obsession...isn't that pathetic? lol.

Paradise fish are anabantoids and closely related to gouramis. They are not cichlids.

Walmart told me they were cichlids & I got cichlid food for them. They seem to like it but I have found out since that they are actually gouramis. So in all fairness I guess you can say gouramis are my fave. :D
