I've never had a marine tank but used to read "Aquarium Fish" magazine cover to cover until a few years ago when I ran out of time. So, I'm familiar with what the fish you mentioned look like.

I've always wanted to a salt water aquarium, my brother gave me a 30 gal aquarium and was gonna give me a 50 gallon, but i just dont have the money or space in the house to start one up. i've always wanted a reef aquarium, but those cost alot to buy the corals and things, so i will just wait... one day, hopefully one day, i will have a house with aquariums installed in the walls, those are really cool.

I went to a koi club meeting once at the house of a super rich couple. They had a koi pond that was like 100,000 gallons with a 15 foot high waterfall. The pond was 15 feet deep! The owner scuba dives in it to get things off the bottom. Inside their house, they had a 1000 gallon indoor koi pond and a marine tank in the wall just like you mentioned. The tank was maybe 300 gallons! They had I think 3 10+ feet high professionally-decorated Christmas trees (it was that time of year). We can only dream we have that kind of time and money!

Robyn your lucky you got to see. This is weird but i belong to a salt water forum and most people have 1000+ gallon salt water tanks! they have nothing better to do with there money i guess.
